Celebrate Halloween by submitting a video performance to IMA’s kid-friendly Spooktacular Music Video Festival! Open to musicians of all ages and levels performing piano, vocals, guitar, strings, drums, or ukulele. Costumes and spooky creativity are encouraged. This competition provides the perfect deadline to help your students master intonation, bow control, and structural phrasing in solo repertoire—whether they are tackling a simplified dance movement or a complex movement from the unaccompanied Sonatas, Partitas, or Suites.
Sonata/Sonatina Solo Competition is a video event open to piano performers. This competition is designed to promote excellence in performance, encourage artistic growth, and foster a deeper understanding of the sonata and sonatina repertoire.
